Is Aiken Co sit using the 800MHZ?

I put in the 800MHZ freqs and have heard nothing, I live in the Augusta, GA area I should be able to pick the signal up. Does anyone have any idea what is wrong.

Be sure you have your scanner programmed correctly first i.e., frequencies, talkgroups, and correct mode (Motorola). Aiken County is alive and well and I listen to them all the time when I'm scanning the Palmetto 800 system. The info on this site is correct for Aiken County. If you have the Palmetto 800 already programmed all you have to do is add the talkgroups you want to listen to.

frootydawg, v arifing Aiken Co control fregs is 868.73750. I am still hearing nothing. I am picking up Columbia, Co GA and Richmond Co but Aiken I am not hearing anything.???

Depends on your location as to which tower you should listen in on. I live in appling and I use the north augusta tower to listen to aiken county. Give that a try if you havent already.
