Medshore Ambulance Service

I was visiting friends in Elberton yesterday. I have the Anderson County CC's in my radio. Busy night in the county. Had the scanner in open mode and picked up Greenville PD's TG's, along with Medshore's TG's of 6192, 6224. Just wondered where they run out of in SC.

Their business office is in Anderson. They also have a presence in Columbia, Greenville and Laurens.

I believe an ambulance service by the same name also operates in Mitchell and Ashe Counties in the N.C. mountains, but I'm unsure if it is the same entity. Anyone know ???

They also have a VHF dispatch in Anderson 155.385. They have an ID that pops up now and again for Columbia, 27920.

At one time, MedShore was the main contract EMS provider for the city of Anderson. They also run a lot of non-emergency transport units in the upstate.
