Irish Travelers

I've not heard the Travelers on VHF in over a year. Surely they did not move to Nextel. Anyone around North Augusta have an idea. I keep both a mobile and base PGM'ed with their freqs. Usually they work out of the Simpsonville asphalt plant twice a year. Pending all replys, Larry

Are the Irish Travelers the same as the Gypsies listed in the Frequency Dicrectory?

Yes they are. I did have a Yahoo Group "Gypsy Tracking" but could not get any input. They roam almost Nationwide. Use to run into them when I was on the road. I had a VHF WT on their freqs in addition to them being PGM'ed in my scanners. Maybe someone in that area knows whats up. I have a list of their lingo and a long list on radio handles and know all their family names. Just an interesting side project.
