I took a trip to Greenwood today and noticed that Laurens Co. SD was using their UHF frequencies. There wasn't much radio traffic on them but I heard some on 453.250. I thought they were on the Palmetto 800 system? I didn't hear any traffic on the Laurens PD or Clinton PD conventional frequencies.

I also got the PL tone for McCormick Co. SD Dispatch, 107.2 PL. I submitted it to the database but I thought I would post it here too.

Agencys usually dont drop their old systems, they use them for odd jobs and backup. The City of Grnvl went 100% 800 digital but keep their old ch-1 UHF in use for forensic team.
