Default Work Ham Sats with your HT!

Here's the handout I use at my satellite presentations. All you need is a dual-band HT that's capable of "split frequencies" - and you'll be working ham sats!

I talked to another Amateur operator in Colorado via AO-27 back in 1999 using a Kenwood TH-78 and an Arrow hand-held antenna from my back yard in Texas.
