Question elmer

Im interested in working the birds. Im looking for a local elmer. Im in dm14ca. Looking for someone within 20 miles or so to show me the ropes on my first few contacts. Pomona, San dismas, north orange county area.

Any one using a arrow antenna with 2 ht. How are you attaching them or holding them. Pictures or links to info would be much appreciated
