Smile ? Satellite scanner BC142XL Help

Need help id-ing a scanner and equipment
the scanner is a BC142XL and on the display it has a label
(Modified for Satellites By SSC)

with this scanner it has a
Software Systems Consulting
WEFAX DEMODULATROR

WEFAX DEMODULATROR is this some sort of data slicer 2-level 4-level or somthing else

what type of software does the WEFAX DEMODULATROR need
and what type of antenna do i need a polarized or ground-plan
and what is a radio like this worth Price wise

i am use etrunker.exe and a 2-Level Data Slicer to Decode Trunked Radio Systems
i am looking for more info on the listed equipment

not sure what you are asking. but the radio i think you talking about was a modified version. it was modified to receive wideband. it is not the off the shelf verson of the radio.
hope that answers the question
as far as an antenna goes. you will have to track the bird on the pass. you can use a antenna like a ground plane but will not be real happy with the pictures you will get.
