(I sure miss FLTSATCOM monitoring... with DAMA now, it's pretty much no more)

I promise I won't go nuts, Lindsay, but I can't say about anyone else, hi...

We have a small Wiki page devoted to satellites - and a few links for the International Space Station (ISS), here...

http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/SATCOM

With the 4th of July coming up, the astronauts aboard the ISS might find some time to talk to some stations, or perhaps will put the Kenwood into repeater mode. If they do command the Kenwood into repeater mode, there's a linked ARRL article that describes how to attempt to use it.

On the military front, Milcom readers have seen that several people have picked up Latin American stations on the MilSat frequencies, and Larry Van Horn's current blog has a list of the frequencies; he says he will cover more milsat stuff in his column - and presumably his blog as well...

GO LINDSAY GO!
Would be extremely interested in this Forum as I'm a Space Nut and have been monitoring every broadcast/comm I could recieve fior over 50 years. Recall bringing Zenith table radio to school in 1959 so the class could listen to Mercury flights. They let me cause it was "educational" and I was nut and was known to be a smart-cookie/promising-youth.
Rocket Science begins early in life- ya'll share this stuff with the kids as it happens.

Thanks For Your Excellent Work and 73's,
Jon
