Vintage Antenna Specialists Disguised

I am restoring a 1972 Ambulance and have what I believe is this antenna on the cowl. Looking to tune it to ham bands as well as continue its use in AM/FM. Does anyone have the tuning directions or old instructions?

and plan on changing to other entertainment systems, such as blue tooth from the iPhone for my '70's playlist. Including one of the total project. It had two roof antennas that were the source of water leaks and rust.

As for the 'combo' type antennas, they were never the 'best' thing going, always had complications. If it's just for 'looks' then make it look nice but don't use it. If you want to use an antenna, I'd replace and seal one of those roof mounted ones.

(Just for grins, I used to work out of one of those @#$ things. Compared to other types of ambulances, they were the pits. No room to speak of, always 'hunched' over. Had to learn to 'duck walk'.)
