I found this on Ebay SSE NF96XI 1 Adjustable RF Notch Filter 80 190MHz
My total from Ebay was $61.00, and that's with shipping, and it's sold by the maker.

It is also listed at ScannerMaster Jim 96XI-1 Adjustable Notch Filter it's listed there for $79.95 + shipping.

My question is does it work? I had posted a different topic about a FM Trap I had bought, it works great on removing the FM problem, and then I discovered pagers, and N.O.A.A. Weather were also affecting my receive, so I found this, and it may have fixed my problem

So are there any thoughts on using this product?

Doing a quick look I found this:

The way I would do it is identify the interference and have PAR design a filter for you. I think things like this are more gimmick than first class RF products. Any premium filter supplier should show you spectrum shots of it in action; no amount of advertisements I read provided useful information.

Ultimately this looks like it's mainly for FM broadcast. Otherwise if you need a small chunk of RF notched this won't help you.

So far it has seem to have solved my problems, I no longer here the weather coming in on my VHF signals, nor any pagers.

I'm curious where you have the "notch" set at. Is it around 162 MHz or somewhere else?

And I completely agree with Wayne on figuring out what is hitting you and getting specific filters, but if the SSE filter works for you that's all that matters.

BTW, I'm a PAR filter junkie...but I can now hear a LOT more.

Disregard my question, I see that the frequency reference is just a sticker on the front and the actual tuning knob is on the bottom.

It looks to be between 150.000 & 160.000, I no longer hear music, pagers or the weather, if I'm not on the weather channel.
