Rock and Roll Marathon

Has anyone figured out the color code and talkgroups being used for the Rock and Roll marathon staff radios around the country. The frequencies are DMR and listed under Competitor Group, San Diego, in the FCC database, but radios are used nationwide at the races.

Rock and Roll Marathon is run in a number of cities around the world. For the US races they are using Motorola Mototrbo radios in the clear. The Receive Group is 1, CC 5, Slot 1. All traffic is NOT encrypted. This weekend they are in Savannah Georgia, and November 14th and 15th they will be in Las Vegas. Over the weekend I'll update the channel usage if I learn more. The following ten channels are being used:

CH 1 462.78750000 EXPO
CH 2 462.83750000
CH 3 469.56250000
CH 4 466.23750000
CH 5 466.21250000
CH 6 466.18750000
CH 7 466.16250000
CH 8 466.13750000
CH 9 466.11250000
CH 10 466.03750000

N1GAW, can you advise more info on these freqs? Are they all simplex? Pl tones? I work the Savanah and Raleigh races with them and would like to have these freqs in my Mototrbo radio, thanks, John W4JJO

All are simplex on mototrbo there are no PL codes only slot and cc

Thanks for your reply, I'll be in Raleigh in April for the marathon. I'll try to monitor dmr while in the area also. Maybe we can cross paths that weekend. W4JJO

Monitored the race in DC on Saturday. I only found two frequencies active (I arrived five hours into race), and they were using Color Code 3:

466.1125 [ ] Staff? (DMR - Color Code 3, Group 1)
466.1625 [ ] Materials/Logistics? (DMR - Color Code 3, Group 1)
