Default New Henderson County TN online scanner feed

Hello everyone,

I posted this already to my local state forum, but also wanted to post it here for the online scanner crowd.

I setup an online feed for our county Sheriff, Fire, EMS, and Rescue. Check it out here:

http://tn.scanamerica.us/index.php?county=Henderson

I currently have the following in the scan list:

1. Henderson County Sheriff's Dept 460.200
2. Henderson County Sheriff's Dept private 460.6375
3. Henderson County Fire 154.325
4. Henderson County Rescue 159.150
5. Henderson County EMS 151.745
6. Air Evac Lifeteam 153.185
7. Intercity 155.370
8. Lexington Fire Dept 460.600
9. Hospital 155.340
10. Statewide EMS 155.205

The Lexington Police Dept is encrypted P25 thats why its not in the list. I also left out some THP stuff as where I'm located I hear 2 different regions and they talk constantly. I may add 45.58 and 42.26 as thats what our local THP talk on mostly.

I'm running Ubuntu 8.04.1 server edition, Icecast2, and darkice. I'm listening to an old Bearcat 147xlt connected to a vhf/uhf j-pole at about 20 feet. It should run 24/7 unless we have an extended power failure or internet outage.

I would greatly appreciate any feedback.

Richard

Looked long and hard at your pages, a lot of work went into them it looks like. I still need to think long and hard about a trunked scanner but for the few frequencies involved I may not yet commit..ALL looks good , thank=you sir ..Lynn ---------KI4ROG
