Capturing ARC996 Virtual Control Screen with Media Encoder

Hi all,
Bit the bullet and bought the Uniden BCD996T. Does everything I could want and more once I figure it all out :-). Question of the day, I am told Windows Media Encoder will grab the Virtual Control screen so that I can stream it out to my webpage. My results so far are this; in Encoder I select "Properties" from the tool bar, then choose "Screen Capture" in the video dropdown. Then I click configure where I'm taken to the Screen Capture Properties" panel. From here I can choose "enitre screen", "region of screen", window", etc.. even has a selection listed as "ARC996 - Virtual Control BASIC" which is what I want. But after trying them all, the encoder will never capture. I even draw a border around the section I want captured, but nothing.. any ideas?
