Default Bluetooth Transmitter

I want to start streaming, but don't really have an extra PC to use. Has anyone tried using a Bluetooth Audio Transmitter to send the audio from the scanner to the PC? Also I scan several agencies at the same time, will I be able to feed all of them or just one. (ex. Sheriff, PD's, Fire, Rescue, etc)

Never used a Bluetooth PC Adapter i don't think the quality would be good enough you easiest route would be to go to radio shack and get a long Audio Cable

And yes you can host whatever you want on your scanner i host all my county and some of another. Try not to get it overcrowded with radio transmissions

Use the Barix Instreamer 100.
See the live Audio Wiki: Live Audio - The RadioReference Wiki

This is a stand alone streaming device.
I use there for my streams.

I use the Ceedo's Bluetooth adaptor, designed for cellphones without Bluetooth capability. I only use it to listen to one scanner, so I can't be of any help with rebroadcasting, etc. (my feed is hard-wired into the laptop). The caveats with this Bluetooth adaptor are the limited distance (not 33 feet) and a fair amount of background, low-level static.

However, it is cool to listen to the scanner "on the quiet".......

Battery life on the transmitter and receiver/earpiece, in my experience, is six hours.

Price was less than $40, but you have to have a 2.5mm female to 3.5mm male adaptor ($4).
