What version of Audacity are you using? Here are some general instructions, might vary a little depending on the exact version you're using.
- Import the audio file with the tones
- Drag the cursor over the section of tone you want to analyze to select/highlight it (remembering that most tone sets are 1 second of Tone A followed by 3 seconds of Tone B)
- Analyze > Plot Spectrum
- Set Algorithm to "Spectrum", Function to "Rectangular Window", Size to "4096" and Axis to "Log Frequency"
- In the display window, hover the mouse cursor over the highest peak and read the Peak: value under the display. It will probably be a Hz or two off the standard tone, so take a look at a tone chart to get the actual Hz value that it most closely matches. So for example, 1819 Hz would actually be Plectron tone 1820 Hz
