Default Newbie question for streaming

Hello... long time listener to RR, first time poster. I have a Bearcat 996T and want to be able to listen and control the scanner remotely from work. I need help on the steps involved to do this. I have Windows XP on the computer I will connect to the scanner. I use FreeScan to connect to the computer. Anyone help will be appreciated!

Tx!

Dmmohl:

I use Proscan to stream a live feed and also control my BCD996T from work. In addition, you will be able to stream the alpha tags with your feed using the Scan Cast feature in Proscan. You should give the free 30-day trial version a try. It's very simple to set-up:

ProScan
