Default 1,278 new feed links added to scannerfeeds.us

Well I finally had the chance to go through every feed link on the site to check for validity, then had to gather up all the new feed links. I removed 230 dead feeds and added 1,278 new feed links. That currently brings the grand total number of feed links to 2,513 and total other links to 223. The grand total doesn't include the many feeds that are relayed on multiple services. RadioReference owns about 45% of the "market share" on live feeds LOL. Their is certainly plenty to listen to that is for sure.

I would post the update list here but I don't feel like splitting it up into 5-10 posts as this forum only allows so much per post. The update list is 30 pages long LOL. So for the list, just visit scannerfeeds.us - Scanning The Globe The link is in the upper right corner. Enjoy y'all.

I was wondering why you changed the existing scanner links directed to RadioReferance to end up at the US map rather than the State and County. Once the visitor arrives to that page they have to start searching.

Well I did it that way as it is different on Radioreference. Before with Scanamerica, it had the state initial in the address link, now it just has a number identification for each page. That number could easily change if they decide to delete a page and move that data to a new sheet. It at least points them in the right direction I guess.

No, not all of those 1,278 links point to RR, I would say maybe 30-45% of those 1,278 links point to RR. Scannerfeeds.us is like a reference library on where to find all the feeds on the net. Have to gather it all in 1 place lol.

The number will always remain the same for the specific feed it is associated with.

The ID would change if someone stops providing a feed and someone else volunteers to provide the same feed contents or something similar.
