Is it possible to broadcast over my home network only?

I have 8 computers throughout the house that I'd like to be able to listen to the scanner at any given time.

If so, can someone point me in the right direction?

Yes. You can use a program called ScannerCast. You can download it at the following website and read all about it.

This is the page I was actually refering to. At the very bottom, (Listening Directly To Your Feed From a Remote System -- Without Radio Reference or ScanAmerica) it tells you how you go about setting it up.
