Default Radio Shack Pro-95 hum and low audio when streaming

Hey folks..

I just setup a new feed the other day..
Norwich Police and Fire Live Scanner Audio

When I stream my Radio Shack PRO-95 I get a crazy hum and the output of volume is very low.

Is this a common issue with the PRO-95 scanner?

I hooked up my older scanner PRO-82 same exact way and there is no hum and volume is fine So i am using the older scanner for now..

I want to use my PRO-95 because it has a lot more receiving power and frequency selection.

I will be buying a Ground Loop Isolator in a couple days that may help the hum but will it help the volume?

Anyone familiar?
What are my other options?

Thanks,

ScanDxer

Default

Well I fixed it by fiddling with the headphone plug on my scanner..

I pulled the cable out of my scanners headphone jack just a little bit but not too much.

Maybe that turned it on mono ?

Works great now! No more hum and good volume now.

I hope this helps someone else..
