Audio File Help

I'm seeking a few suggestions as to what I could do. I have 25 audio files I've downloaded from my archives that i want to piece all together and take out all the dead audio. However, to do this, it will take an extremely long time. I was going to use Audacity to edit them, but you can only do one at a time. If anyone has any idea of what to use and where to start, I'd appreciate it if you share!

I use Cool Edit Pro - Can open all At Once .....Shouldn't take long at all to remove all silence.
