Ok so I have a question and I'm sure there is a simple answer to it. I am running ScannerCast for my feed and have it going into the line in on my computer. I wanted to start running Trunk88 and had it plugged into the mic in on the same computer but I can't get both to work at the same time. I would think this would be possible and I hope that I'm just missing something simple.

Trunk88 needs access to the raw control channel data not the voice audio from the scanner.

Sound cards usually can only use one input at a time.
So it is the feed on line or something else on Mic in but not both at the same time. If it did both at the same time, both will will be broadcast by ScannerCast & or any other streaming software.
I think you will need a sound card for each use.
