I ran across a scanner site that uses one of the Two Tone Detect software to automatically record fire dispatches and loads them on a another site. The site I'm looking for has a service that is capable of receiving an attached audio file by email and loading them on a page with a player for each fire dispatch. I registered on the site but failed to retain the info before rebooting and losing the browser history. I'm all Goggled out.
Can't find the web site that hosts audio files and player for free.

I think you are referring to posterous.com. The only problem with the site is that there is no way to bulk delete the files. My site has a couple of years of dispatches that need to be deleted 1 by 1.
Yep, you're right. I just found it and have been setting it up. Thanks. Humm, no bulk delete. To bad they don't have a maximum number setting.
