I don't think the radio audio is reaching TTD. As a test, can you switch the radio to a weather channel and then see the TTD data scrolling start and stop when you turn the weather channel on and off?

You will need to describe your setup in more detail for us to be of much help. How are you “playing” audio on your computer and expecting TTD to hear it?

I have a radio that is plugged in to the audio jack. I have messed with the audio defaults but still nothing.

First, prove that audio is getting to your computer. Open the squelch or set the radio to the weather channel and see if you can get audio out of the computer speakers. You will need to cross this hurdle before anything else will work.

Default Sound issues w/ v70

Hello! We purchased a Lenovo laptop running Windows 10 w/ a combo microphone/speaker jack. We have installed the plug to separate the two jacks so the computer is not using the internal webcam mic.

The mp3 files are extremely distorted and quiet. Any suggestions?

Check all of your audio cable connections and your scanner volume.

Firefighter2253,
Can you set the radio to a weather channel with known good signal and test the connections with that first?
