I currently run a stereo stream with regular scanners and a USB sound card on a Raspberry Pi B+. One scanner goes to the left channel and the other goes to the right channel. It works fine but would like to eventually eliminate the scanners (lower power consumption, less cords, etc) and use RTL-SDR dongles. Is it possible to do a stereo stream with one dongle going to the left channel and a second dongle going to the right channel? Or do I need to run 2 separate streams and do away with the stereo if I go the RTL-SDR route? Also guessing I would need to get a Pi 2 or 3 to support the processing power of the RTL-SDR, especially 2 of them? Thanks!
