Default Why does my feed sound like this?

About every 30-45 minutes my feed will go completely unintelligible. It will slowly get worse for about 2-3 minutes then go back to normal.

Anything I can change to stop this?

Here's an audio sample:

It sounds like you are overdriving the sound card. Is the scanner volume way up? I would turn it down and turn up the sound card input.

The volume is about a 1/4 past completely muted. I'll try lowering it.

Sounds fine. I am using one of the USB soundcards. I'm wondering if that's causing it.

I use to have issues similar to this when I use to use NiceCast. Nothing was ever explainable for as to why the issue was occurring. NiceCast has a mind of its own.
