Default Motorola STX 821

Does anybody know if the Motorola STX821 can be programmed in receive only mode.

Can it be programmed on a trunk system for receive only mode,What do I need.

control channels
system id
connect tone
frequencies

What is the freq coverage of these radios

I have bought two with key pads in GREAT shape real cheap and wanted to put them to use.

yes guys i have trunk trackers but did not want these to just sit around

does anybody on the list have programming capabilities

or know of a good place

I called a couple of places and they either want 97.00 dollars
(chicago com) or they dont have the software any longer.

any help would be appreciated
