Unhappy Firefox issues with the pulldown menus

I'm using Firefox 3.0.6 and it seems that the pulldowns don't always seem to work for me if I change from one environment (say the forums) and go to the database (or vice versa). I am continually having to clear my cache and private data and refresh the page, and that's very annoying. I don't seem to have that issue on IE, so it's some sort of setting I need to change. But what?

Any ideas? 73 Mike

I had the same thing happening. Sorry I do not know how to fix it. I just started using IE again.

Mike,

I too am using Firefox 3.0.6. I am also using 1280 X 1024. I have a 20 inch flat screen and a 17 inch flat screen running together(because my other 20 inch gave up the ghost). I am not having any of those problems. You might want to try completely removing firefox from your system, clean it out of the registry and re-install it and see if you are having the same issues. I'm not sure why some are having issues but some are not. I have about a 1 1/2 of white space on each side too, but I think the site looks great.

Since this is the only site that has an issue that I use regularly, I sincerely doubt that deleting/reinstalling is going to do any good at all. I have no doubt it's some sort of setting issue, just don't know what it is. The fact that no one else has reported it doesn't mean that others haven't seen this issue - they just may not have bothered to report it. It would be interesting to see if Opera or Safari users have this same issue 73 Mike

I am using 3.0.6 with Vista Home Premium as the OS and not having any problems with the menus.
