New Site & Eye Strain
Who ever chose the font colors, types and sizes doesnt know much about web design. This new site is a major eye sore ...
Could you give some options for styles and maybe let us change it around? I cant look at this current site long before my eyes literally start to hurt!

No offense really... but I was thinking the same of your signature.
And you must be mistaken about web design... I find this site is one of the easiest to navigate, and is a lot more aesthetically pleasing than the old monotonous blue.

Yes I agree, my signature looks out of place now as well - I'll go remove it.
I also agree the navigation is fine the colors and the fonts that are horrid, but I guess I dont know what Im talking about - sorry.

You can change web content, sizes, colours, etc by using Greasemonkey or Stylish. You may also look at the Platypus toolbar which makes it easier to write Greasemonkey scripts. Good luck.

We are working on some style updates to the forums - as they are a little awkward. Be patient as we tweak the new design.
Thanks,

Easy to Identify Unread Threads
Speaking (writing?) just for me - I find the new yellow (on my machine) background for threads in the Forums I've not read a BIG bonus.
Thanks to all concerned.

For those of us who live/work/play/compute in dark environments, this white is a killer when you have three dark screen schemes and then this white one. Makes me pupils go from 60mm to 0mm's in .00690000050400302784421131 seconds. Bang, ouch.
But no complaints, love the site, just trying to be constructive and put in my vote for a 'Midnight' scheme.
Best,
Mike

I have to agree on the font size.
It's REALLY hard on older eyes.
Way too small.

Add me to the list of those wishing for alternate styles. In particular, I'd like to see a variable width style like the previous version, instead of this narrow fixed width layout. Sure does leave a ton of wasted horizontal real estate on a big widescreen LCD (approx 350 pixels on either side at 1680x1050).

I'll add my thoughts; when printing on my B&W laser the font is small and hard to read, it appears too light. Really hard for someone with eye problems (me).

Hold down your control button, and scroll your mouse wheel up.

I agree that it's not as pleasing to read as the previous version. The old colors were much easier on the eyes.
