Default Mobile Interface - New Features for 4/24/2009

New features have been rolled out for the mobile interface at:

RR Mobile

1) Retrieve Frequencies/Information based on Zip Code (US Only)
2) Frequency Search by State
3) Additional frequency details display for individual frequency entries (inputs, etc)
4) System ID and Custom Frequency Table information now available for trunked systems.

I've got more features and functionality planned - but these are some of the more highly requested updates that we rolled out today.

Enjoy!

I've been testing and reviewing some solutions - but there aren't any acceptable iPhone oriented solutions just yet.

Hello Dubbin... HELLO DUBBIN!!!

We've released mobile device support for the forums... we did it ... it is here. I haven't seen you post a single message from your device yet.

I worked so hard for you... I am devastated. Are you OK out there? You are still alive right?

Never had problems with the non mobile site on my HTC Touch Diamond, just install flash for Opera and it works fine also for WinMo users skyfire or Iris have built in flash ability. Not that I really care but when I post from my mobile phone it doesn't say "Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5H11 Safari/525.20)
" in the post. This is cool when I'm using the work phone though thanks.

I have a Touch Pro and can't get to the database due to not having Flash. Where did you go to get it installed for Opera?

Here is a flashlite 3.1 http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/dist...bleplayer.html I haven't been able to get it to do anything yet but I haven't played with it that much. Or download Opera version here and give it a try http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ight=flashlite.
Otherwise you can try skyfire or Iris web browser, or try a custom ROM from ppcgeeks.com, I know for the diamond Mightry ROM 4.8 has flash preinstalled for opera. He as a WinMo 6.5 ROM out for the touchpro if you want to try that, just read all the warnings and how-to before flashing a ROM.
