Default Contact Seller while still new user?

Dear Sir or Madam,

I signed up yesterday and my posts are still moderated. I'm fine with that and understand why it is done.

I was wondering if my email would be delivered if I followed the "Contact Seller" link in a classified ad while my posts are still moderated? I did this yesterday and haven't heard back. Of course the sellers are not obliged to respond, they may be busy, etc. and I understand that completely. I'd just like to know if my email was blocked, delayed, is waiting for moderation, or something like that. I don't recall any messages about delays or refusals, but this was before I tried to post and I wasn't looking for messages like that.

Thanks very much!

Dear Tungsten,

I believe, that if you sent a message via "Contact Via Email" the person should have received it. Otherwise, you most likely would have received an access denied message from our system.

Warm regards,

Default Thanks!

Dear Mr. Blanton,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I'd also like to thank you for such a great web resource. I was thinking about buying a scanner, but knowing next to nothing about them and not knowing anyone who used them I thought it might be difficult to get started. Your web site provides such a tremendous wealth of information I certainly don't worry about a lack of it.

Provided I figure out what I need (I have started a thread in the Texas forum about it -- thanks for the beginner's FAQ, too) and manage to get a scanner, I'll certainly do my best to contribute. I'm sure I'll be able to figure out how to verify the frequencies in the database and provide new ones.

Best regards,

John
