Default problem with Safari web browser

when viewing the Forums with Safari, if I navigate to any page other than Page 1 in a thread, Safari starts to display the page, then jumps back to Page 1

I am running Safari Version 4.0.4 (5531.21.10) under Mac OS X 10.5.8 (9L31a)

Firefox running on the same system does not have this problem

I just tried to reproduce using the exact same versions... and I'm unable to. Not sure why you are having this problem...

Default Safari web browser

Thanks all, must be a problem on my end. I have 2 other Macs to try it on. I will post the results when I find the solution.

A little late to the party on this one...

Whenever there are weirdities like this try resetting Safari and delete the cache. This tends to cure most ills, and almost always works for me.

I know this won't help much, but I am using Safari on my Vista PC with zero issues and I am trying to convert as many people as possible to using it!
