What is this and why is it hanging up my browser? When im on the New York Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference and try to click long island, my browser hangs for like 15 seconds. I see its trying to connect to this edge thing. Cant seem to connect to http://edge.quantserve.com/ either. This is in the html code on that ny page above...

So what is it and is their domain having an issue?

Should I get some kind of confirmation after opting out? I click it and it did not do squat.

My browser still gets hung up on Quantcast making radio reference almost unbareable...

So this is spyware

The script is embedded in the main forums page but does not cause me and hang there, only when clicking maps in the New York Page..

What browser do you use? I know FireFox, and Opera(And Chrome, I think) has the Ghostery add-on that stops that specific one, plus others.

Im using fire fox this Quantcast stuff is already and has been in my host file. I have firefox noscript and all the add blockers. Everything was good until yesterday. Now it hangs and freezes firefox for like 15 seconds making it useless..
