Default Premium Account

Good Morning,

I just registered as a new user on Radio Reference and was attempting to purchase a premium subscription. It appears the only way to purchase is through PayPal and I *refuse* to use PayPal due to security issues. Is there no way to use a credit card through other means? If not, I guess I will not be a premium subscriber.

Thanks for your help

Why are you so upset at paypal? Their security is better then a whole lot of other on line payment systems to include using a cc, thru the internet.

I have never had a problem using paypal but I have had problems using my cc for other online purschases.

I wish everyone would use paypal.

PayPal is a million times better then just entering your CC into a form.

Obviously, you two guys have never had your identity or a CC # stolen. I have and I learned from the experience. Once it happens to you guys you will understand. If you will do a little research into Paypal's history, you will understand my reticence. Regardless, I found a way.

Thanks (?) for you comments.

What security issues are you concerned about? I've yet to hear about a security issue with PayPal, but of course the best security system can not make up for a user's incompetence. If you remain diligent you will not have security issues with PayPal.

I have had an identity theft and it is a nightmare to get corrected. In my case, someone took a cell phone offer from my mail box. This happened back in the late 90's. I have had PayPal, online banking, and Amazon accounts for several years with out issues.

As I stated before, do a little research and become enlightened. As for your "incompetence" comment, you know precisely what you can do with that.

I bet he figured it out, but you can become a Premium Subscriber via Scanner Master.

Scanner Master - Police Scanners by Uniden Bearcat, AOR and Radio Shack.

Thank you very much for you help, safetyobc. I did see that method after I had already found a work-around but I will keep that in mind for renew time.

Again, thanks!

Yep -- and there's other ways, as well.

Thank you!
