I wanted to make a change to a grammatical error. The "Edit" icon/link to make the change was still available, which would indicate to me that it was still within the time frame of being able to make changes to the posting.

I clicked the "Edit" button and was taken to the text editor and made my corrections. When I clicked the button to save/make changes, I was redirected to a link that indicated that the time limit has expired to make changes to the posting. I tried again, clicking the "Edit" button, making the changes, and saving it, with the same results.

My suggestion is that when the time limit has been reached to make changes, the "Edit" button should not be available.

Maybe this was some sort of anomaly and does not normally happen, but it did.

Usually the EDIT icon "disappears" after twenty-four hours for us "regular guys"

Does your being a DB Administrator allow you an extended or enhanced edit option ?

BTW , how long after the original post did you return to edit ?
