When I look at an ARTCC page:

http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&aid=2232

I see a top section labelled "FAA Reported Information for...", and then a number of database sections.

1. Is the "FAA Reported" section an automated feed from somewhere? Where does this information come from?

2. Are all the freqs in the "FAA Reported" section at the top in the database sections following it?

Thanks.

I will try to answer this, although we have a DB Administrator that handles the ARTCC pages specifically.
  1. Yes and I don't know exactly.
  2. It would depend. We (DB Admins) only use that information we believe to be correct based on personal experience or submissions to load into the database. The top section, being a download, may indeed contain things that don't agree with the bottom sections.

If memory serves, Eric, the FAA freqs come off a feed from their ATA100 databases - which, like the FCC, contains old and outdated listings. As Larry Van Horn and others stated some time ago, these listings aren't to be trusted to be very accurate - I'd stick with whatever listings follow them.
