Editing Posts - How?

How are people editting their posts? I see the message at the bottom of some posts that reads, "Last edited by (insert user name here)".

I don't see an option for that and I'd like to correct mistakes I see after a post is made. I can understand why it's like that in the for sale forum, but I see people doing it all the time in other forums. Why can't I? Am I missing something?

You can't edit posts in the classifieds or posts over 1 day old.

I know that, but I can't edit any post - no matter which forum they are in.

Hmm, very odd. Try clearing your browser's cache.

That did not help. I think there may be a setting somewhere that I'm missing or a setting that my account does not have access to.

I can post and immediately see that I don't have access to edit the post.

Nope. I see the "Quote" and the one to the right of it. I do not see an "Edit" at all.

How did you get that FMF BMET under your name?

No edit...

I put the FMF BMET there. If you are an administrator, moderator or database admin, you can add text or a tag there.

Here are some things I would try:

• Try another computer, if you have one.
• Download Mozilla Firefox and try to edit a post
• Go to this url: http://www.radioreference.com/forums/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=581473 - this is the direct link to edit one of your posts in this thread. See if it works. TRY THIS FIRST

You would because that is a direct link for my account. Now if you clicked http://www.radioreference.com/forums/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=581507 , it should allow you to edit your post.
