I'm not sure if this idea has ever been brought up or not. With the amount of people always logged on to the forums I think a chat room would get a lot of use. I'm not sure how easy / difficult that is to do but it might be something worth looking into.

Lindsay was going to purchase a nice chat client for the site. He put in use a Beta, a couple of times, and it was not used but by a handful of members at its peak. So it was removed

Id use it, I think it would be a great idea, something with a little more rules, than the RR tavern so people dont get as HEATED in there

i think it would be great (i have made a thread about it before). the old one that was here was very hard to find on the site and most people i think didnt even know it exsisted. if there was a tab beside it for the database and forum tabs, i think it would get more use.

Nope, just an IRC client, which are available for free online.

With the magic of the Web, you don't even need an IRC client anymore (but it does make things easier).

Visit from your browser using:

http://chat.efnet.org/?chan=#radioreference&nick=radio?? --- Just click Login!

Visit from an IRC client on Windows using:

/server irc.efnet.net -j #radioreference
