386t close call

I have read all the Close Call posts, signal must be 15db above noise floor before activating. It seems my 396T is almost dead when in CC mode. With a 1 watt HT on VHF or UHF I must be within 15 feet of the radio for CC to work. Lowering the threshold another 6db would make this feature more...
