tube

Hey guys, So a friend gave me a bunch of old electronics and these 2 radios were among them. I don't know anything about any of this, but would like to know what they are and how to find more information about them. I can't seem to find anything online. Thank you for any info!

I have a Sonar Radio CRX104 tube type VHF/High band receiver as well as a Lafayette tube type Hi/Lo receiver. Both are very clean and the tubes "light-up" but the radios do not receive. I would like to know if anyone still works on tube radios? 73, Gregg, N2UUP
