I wouldn't hold my breathe that NK would fire a missile at us.

If they did, they would have dug their own grave.

As whacked as NK's Dear Leader is, anything is possible, including firing a missile at the states. Remember, the two Korea's are still technically at war, there was only a cease fire signed, no actual surrender or official end of hostilities.

Can we? Yes. Assuming it was a test and we prepared and had everything ready.

Would we really be able to if it was a surprise attack of a dozen missiles? I bet half or more would get through honestly.

The worst part is that with Obama as president, as our cities sat smoldering, he would be talking about remaining calm and negotiating I have no doubt. If I were an enemy of the USA who had long wanted to launch a strike on the USA the Obama presidency would seem the ideal time.

Some of you worry about the littlest remote possibilities.

You probably have a better chance winning the lotto than having NK fire a missile at the states.

Go to the gas station and play the lotto, the winning numbers are:
3 13 22 31 33

In fact he would be blaming George Bush for fostering bad relations and causing North Korea to bomb us.

After all of the reviews of Dear Leader's last nuke tests, you'll be safe unless your butt is glued to the bomb casing. They can be, locally, a hazard to low flying aircraft in the immediate launch area. You can always worry about the earth falling into the Sun for higher statistical probability than this NK propaganda.

Why would they attack without provocation? Unless the screw heads in Washington mess with them we have nothing to worry about besides the screw heads in Washington.

Nobody who has invested so much time down a blind alley likes the messenger who shines a light at the brick wall ahead.
