Default Look Out John Parks

Looks like one of our fellow hobbiests has pi**ed off some people in a big way. They got John scoped out and put up a webpage for the sole purpose of giving the world as much info as they can on him.

John, if you have been looking for a reason to put up those security cameras and get your concealed weapons permit I think you have the excuse you need now.

Holy crap! That dude's got issues....How does one "politely" pull in front of someone on a motorcycle causing them to crash? Very interesting site....Hopefully if this guy is really everything the site says he is (or isn't) he will get what he deserves.

Unfortunately, there are others out there with these same "issues".

If these people want to enforce the speed limits, they need to get the badge first, otherwise, get the h*ll out of the way!

Exclamation

I ride a motorsickle myself & I sure hope those are false allegations !!!!

The very thought of someone doing that is frightening
If, and that's a "IF", I am speeding, then I deserved to be stopped by a LEO. Not
wrecked by some manic-depressed subject....dayum.....scary thoughts gentlemen...

this page has been making rounds in the motorcycle community.
I refrained from making this type of post because I knew I didn't have the delicate words for this forum. but I think cellblock you did a good job at it.

being a member of the bike community, it sure strikes a few nerves, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I hope for John's sake that these are false, if not, I have no sympathy for someone that does something stupid like that.

What's that, driving 90 mph on a motorcycle? I don't agree with pulling out in front of someone driving at an excessive speed, but I also don't condone the bikers who drive 90 and weave in and out of traffic either. I find it interesting that the site wants information on incidents involving this vehicle, but they aren't calling for people to turn themselves in for driving at an excessive speed.

why don't you re read my remark, I hope for John's sake that these are false, if not, I have no sympathy for someone that does something stupid like that. This means mdulrich, that I have no sympathy for idiot drivers that put other people at risk by pulling out in front of somebody and causing an accident.

Exactly! Granted, you shouldn't be going 90 mph in the first place, but it's not this guys, or anyone elses duty, to be enforcing the speed limits, unless they are a LEO, which he isn't.

These so called lane guardians mistakenly think they are being helpful, when in reality, they tend to incite road rage in the other driver(s), and make the situation worse.

FYI - I believe WUSA TV CH9 in DC is now on the story, for the 11pm Eastern newscast, story likely to follow on the website www.wusatv9.com , barring other events....

Lets not judge someone unless we hear it from the horses mouth. I sent him a PM on www.crownvic.net asking him to explain whats going on. I would rather hear it from him before I make my judgement.

and THAT is exactly why you need BOTH sides of the story, before you OMIF, this crap was taken out of context, WAY out of context, to make me look bad.. PERIOD

I DO have a legitimate business in the state of MD
I DO have permission from MSP to have lighting(although, since "this" happened, they're probably going to ask me to remove it, which, I'm going to do even if they dont ask)
I DO NOT "pull over in front of people" when they're driving... no matter what you might have heard, this guy, who "doesnt want to be identified" a Mr. Schmidt, which, it just so happens, I have "ALL" his info too, decided that he wanted me as his "personal project" and is doing his DAMNEDEST to make me look like an idiot, and APPARENTLY it's working... my LAWYER is also working, making sure that "guys like you" dont think that I actually did this shit.. I see a public apology, as well as a sizeable settlement, in the future.....

there is already a criminal investigation in progress, numerous individuals are facing felony charges.....

as they say... "don't believe the hype"..

people who know me, officers who have dealt with me in the past, and continue to deal with me, know "who I am" and know I wouldnt do that, however, agencies that have NOT dealt with me in the past, will dismiss any request I make to do their work, based on what they've heard, so, there is DEFINITELY damage done to my reputation....

the above poster just further proves my point, that these false words, that portray me in a false light, are "convincing" people, that I'm the bad guy.....

they did, and although not exactly how I wanted it, they painted me out to be a whacker, which I'm not...

ABC7, did an excellent job IMO, stating the facts as they were, and letting the viewer paint "his" picture.....

it's funny , that this "self righteous" guy didnt want to be identified....HAH.. I already have all your contact info "buddy"....\...and it doesnt matter about your MSP affiliations either...

county PD has been out here numerous times, due to harassment/stalking/trespassing, egged on by mr schmidt(don't worry, I have proof).

The only reason for a car like that is to try and fool people into believing you are a cop. Just the background on the laptop alone proves that. IMO the car should not even be allowed on the road. If you want to play a cop then become a cop.....

Read some of his posts before assuming something, rememebr he states that the car is a demo car for his company.

Now whether that is true or not I dont know, but thats what he states, so the other reson for having a car like that is to demo your wares to the public and drum up business.

first off, it's an MDC, not a laptop, SECOND OF ALL, you can see that there is an explanation down there, a MC officer wanted someting "different" for his background on HIS mdc in HIS cruiser, I made that for him, I put it UP there, when taking the pictures, to give it that "used" look........that background is NOT used when the car is being driven, I use a plain blue background.

it's a demo car, so, you have to have "something to look at",at all times....it's kinda dull staring at a blue screen with 5 icons on it, wouldnt you agree?

I would say that working hard to make a car look like a currect issue car is asking/looking for trouble. My opinion is that if I were wanting to prove how good an installer I was, I could do it in a non-standard (IE..boring) platform. Doing an install in a SUV, would show the abilities without shouting LOOK AT ME !!!

Spotlights & pushbumpers tend to add to the "wacker" look. I drive a 94 9C1, and to this day I've not installed everything I want to because there are still angencies using the 93-96 B-body platform in my area. Granted, it is a non-traditional color, but I don't want to look like the wackers that are spotlighted on Hamsexy

So most of my ham stuff stays in my Bronco <sigh>

P.S. I predict this thread will be locked by midnight tomorrow.......

I'd say it's probably good to look at the road, not the screen. Heck, I don't care. You don't live close enough to worry about you running into me as you look at the pretty pictures
