Default Single scanner stand for scanner cases

Hi Guys,
Just wondering what you people think of the new Single stand for scanner protective cases like the ones from Scannermaster.
It has a slot in the back plate so the knob in the back of the case fits right in.
This is for a customer in Texas that wanted one like this for his Scannermaster case (Pro-97) and was the first one of this kind with the slot.
Thanks in advanced

Looks interesting. Would this design work with the stock BCD396T? Looks as though it should.

That is what I was going to ask.

I was wondering the same thing? If someone can post the measurements of the little stub for the swivel that would be great!
The thin part of the slot is 1/4" on the back plate.
Thanks guys

I don't believe that 1/4" will accomodate the swivel on the back of the BCD396T. But it looks like 3/8" will. There's also the thickness of the metal to consider. I believe the padding you apply to the plate might make the whole thing too thick. Without the padding, the metal you use on your regular stands might work okay. I'll have to do some further checking.

Hi Guys
The padding I put on the all the stands is not 1/4" anymore. I went to a thinner padding which is only 1/8". So the back plate with the rubber is only 1/4" thick and can be compressed pretty good.(The clip on the Pro-97 loves it! LOL)
Thanks Ken for checking for me, I appreciate it, and if you can look into it more that would be great.
I can easily make the slot 3/8" no problem at all!
Thanks for the comments
Take care

Corners look a little sharp, you could add a few fillets or round them off with a file (or just use some sheet-metal trim) That's just a personal opinion tho...otherwise it looks great

Also, in addition to the stock 'knob,' does it accomodate the 'knob' of the leather carry case? 1/4" out from leather...flat piece is 1/16"...from leather to inside of knob's flat 3/16" . . .

The slot is 3/8" or a little larger?

What you see on there is the sharp cut of the padding, not the metal. All metal on each stand is all sanded so there is no sharp edges.
Thanks for the input guys.
Take care
