Default Video Recording Help...

I would like to record a copy of an embedded video from a site. Are there any asoftware programs that can do this? I am not worried about legality, as that isn't an issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Default Recording Video From A Site

There are several programs that will do this. Unfortunately, I'm a Mac user. The one we use is called Snapz Pro X 2.0.3. You might be able to use Quick Time and do a "Save As". If it's Real Player you may be out of luck.

Can't do that. It is an embedded Flash file. I founf an awesome program called Screen Virtuoso 1.61. It did the job for me just fine. I think I am going to go ahead and purchase the program instead of just using the freeware version.

Moderators, you can close this thread. My solution has been found.

What you want is a "FLV Online Converter." Go to http://vixy.net/flv_converter and insert the URL of the site with the embedded video into the form. It will transcode the video to your choice of AVI, MOV, MP4, 3GP or MP3 (audio) file that you you can download.

Won't work that way. You put in www.whatever.com/video and it pulls up the page. You can select from a hundred different video's, and the web address always shows www/whatever.com/video. Clicking on a video doesn't reveal a link to use.

I did try one of those programs, but obviously with no luck.

Thank you for the help though.

I don't see any videos on that page. Just advertisements.

That is because I didn't list the actual page. I only gave that URL as an example. I was not even aware it was an actual website.
