Okay, so this was moved to the Federal forum. But isn't it a military post?

TRY cityfreq.com
(bad, bad joke from the good old days of reading rec.radio.scanner postings - this reply followed EVERY frequency request, no matter what it was. Classic - anyone remember Captain Scanner? Great stuff...)

He's the former host of a AM radio paranormal ufo/ghost show "Coast to Coast AM" that's on late at night. it's pretty interesting, a friend of mine told me about it ( peterjmag). The host now is George Norry.

Art Bell is the founder of the Coast to Coast AM radio program. Coast to Coast AM is the most listened to overnight radio program in America, heard in just about every city, and is broadcast worldwide. Art Bell used to be the full time host, but it is now hosted by George Noory. Art Bell hosts on the weekends now.
The show, Coast to Coast AM, is themed around government secret projects (Black Operations or Black Ops), paranormal activity, ufology, conspiracy theories, scientific discovery, technology, military research, other related subjects, and science fiction (a lot of this bleeds into the other subjects).
Here is the link to the show's web site: http://www.coasttocoastam.com/
Here is Art Bell's Bio: http://www.coasttocoastam.com/art/about.html
Here is George Noory's Bio: http://www.coasttocoastam.com/george/about.html

Holy crap! he has been the fore front of the alien radio invasion sense the early 90's, that I can remember. Both hosts have an extensive radio carrier.
They also talk about other things of the conspiracy realm; Secret society's, Ghosts (Yours truly, poltergeist activity) time travel, among other topics of the paranormal realm.
The first time I heard Art Bell I was trying to hear a phone conversation through a phone line on my shortwave radio. I was tunning the dial and all of sudden I heard the word -alien- and stooped to listen. Ever sense then I have tunned in from time to time.

The thing that pisses me off about Art Bell is the the way he responds to criticism. Bell will not answer his critics, nor will he ignore them. Instead he attempts to silence people by threatening lawsuits, and making complaints to the FCC in an attempt to get enforcement action taken against his detractors ham licences.

Art Bell
OK,
Now I recognize the name. Usually when the show is on here in Wichita Falls, it is after midnight. If I get called out after midnight, it is usually pretty bad, but I have listened to the show a couple of times. Had some interesting stuff the two times I have heard it.
Thanks for reminding me who he is.
