I was hearing traffic on TG 400 last night on the new system. I think it was PD.

Default Dyersburg TRS

Talked with Mark Grant today, who oversees Dyersburg City Communications, and he said they have upgraded to a P-25 system. They are still using their same channel pairs, but talk groups will be different.
Their backbone which includes towers sites and dispatch is maintained by Integrated Communications in Memphis. Their subscriber units are maintained by West TN Comm.
Mark said Motorola is currently doing optimization on the system this week, and should be finished soon. You should start seeing more traffic on new talkgroups soon.

Dyersburg has been doing a lot of testing today. Logged 15 TGs, DFD dispatch was using 40013 but not sure if it is permanent. That's the only one I am fairly sure of. If I find anymore I'll let everyone know.

The following are correct talkgroups for the DFD (the ones most used)
Fire Dispatch: 40013
EMS Dispatch: 40059
Fire Tac 1: 40015
Fire Tac 2: 40017
Fire Tac 3: 40019
EMS 1: 40061

PD Dispatch is 40001 but they are still currently on backup system.

I have submitted all system information to the site administrator for the Dyersburg P25 TRS, and our conventional back-up system (BRAVO). I suspect it should be available in a few days.

FYI

The City of Dyersburg is planning on connecting to the state switch in Nashville, in the near future.

Dyer SO and Newbern PD/FD is in the process of building out a mototurbo UHF network, for their use. They have elected not to be on Dyersburg's TRS. We have addressed the interop issue with a gateway solution, which should provide for connectivity between the systems.

Is this system running yet? I heard it here in Kennett, Mo when they were testing it, but I haven't anything from it in good while.
