How close are you to Nashville? It could be the Veterans Hospital. Ours in Johnson City uses LTR but with Feds anything is possible. How about the Military Base?

I've come across some systems that the scanner will not decode the system information, even though it tracks conversations like it should. The Pigeon Forge P25 system comes to mind, last time I was out there, my PRO106 wouldn't give me a system ID, WACN, zone #, or anything. From several locations. With a solid decode. It wasn't until I piped the data into Pro96Com did I get any information.

SysID of 372 means it is TVA. Probably Gallatin Fossil since Cumberland or Johnsonville would be too far away.

Nice catch slatescan old bud! TVA! If I get these right to many more times I may scare myself!
Yeah the TVA system is pretty big, and some would call it confused by itself? Work up the site and nail all he details you can and submit them. If its truly another TVA site we don't have in the db, I will work it in.
Site #, SYSID, Nieghbors, CC's, and as many VC's as you can grab would be awesome. Then we can do more TG work. Being its a Fed Secure system, you won't be able to nab GPS coordinates for any sites lol.

I had heard that Harris was building this system, and when you consider that the TVA covers the areas in dark green on this map, this is going to be one massive radio system.

Expect most TVA LE ops to be encrypted, as is the case with current VHF nets. The system will cover the rail ops, power production, including nuclear, Law Enforcement & Security. It will also be co used by the various civilian contracted organizations, and other Federal Agencies. Once completed in the next 5 years the VHF will become an backup for emergencies. Oh and heads up to Ron, CoE is pushing to build out a similar network for the MS River Valley region. This after the various issues over the last few years and will be part of the levee & flood control improvement project.

unknown p25
Would.like to have logged the site when I first found it but was too far away and only picked signal up at low percent. Good job getting info. It will be a big system. Best regards from Springfield.
