163.6250 $300 - ICE
169.7375 $306 - more listening needed
168.0375 $308 - more listening needed
166.9875 $310 - more listening needed
168.3875 $312 - more listening needed
164.8000 $4FE - more listening needed, likely USFS or NPS
164.2250 $500 - more listening needed
168.8250 $052 - ICE from Houston area
165.2750 $BF0 - more listening needed
170.6000 $FFF - more listening needed, but maybe USAF?
172.9500 $293 - FAA
165.2875 $650 - BATFE based by the NAC.
Take a little more listen to some of these. Especially the $156, might you have a Federal Prison near-by vs them being DEA, as they are not normal DEA, unless they are new assignments.
As for the CG, see what Sector/Stations, could be some of the stuff is likely from closer into Houston.

I would say it's probably D031 which someone suggested might even be linked via UHF on 416.4875 from the Brownsville Area

I have heard them mention repeaters in Granbury, Glen Rose, Stephenville, Comanche and Graham one time when the techs were driving around servicing them but I don't know which frequency is in which town. There is a relatively strong one on 167.5875 that is either in Weatherford or Jacksboro.

They were doing radio testing today.
167.5875 IDed as "Weatherford Fort Worth" so I guess it is the Weatherford repeater.
167.4125, 167.4875, 167.5875, 167.6125 were active later on with simultaneous key ups and occasional DES.
Also heard them mention checking out repeaters in Gainesville and Lewisville.

In Waco, I've not found any Federal action. While in Dallas, I heard DEA ground units talking to air support in clear mode, but that is all. Furthermore, I am finally able to monitor Ft. Hood P25. Loud and clear when I travel to Killeen.

PS: The DEA, which was operating in Dallas was transmitting in analog mode.

Yes, Dallas DEA has not migrated to P25, contrary to popular belief. Even DEA Dallas Tactical is still in the clear analog.

From what I've read, having inside information from the City of Waco, DEA submitted a request to the FCC for transmitting on system. However, I don't know if it was for the new TxWarn or old analog trunking. But, I will find the letter if I can. I think they are hidden within the trunking system working in encrypted mode. But, that is only a guess.

I know that San Antonio DEA operates on the SA ProVoice system (on both encrypted and PV digital talkgroups) as well as their UHF P25 conventional, so it's not too far fetched to think they could be doing the same in Waco.

It's hard to hide from me in a trunking system if they ever turn they're radio on. A program like UniTrunker can work wonders in elucidating the details and usage of a system even down to each individual radio. A little pattern analysis can go a long ways with this program.

I've attempted to run Wildcard on the unidentified Federal Trunking in Waco, but the Win500 states that the configuration is wrong when I attempt to program and monitor it. Where do you get UniTrunker?

Ensnared,
Google Unitrunker to find unitrunker. It's also in our wiki, and at unitrunker.com
For the Federal TRS in Waco, I'd bet that was a mobile system to support the WHCA or USSS when Bush was in Crawford. I've had that system programmed in for 2-3 years and have never heard a peep on it when I'm in Waco. Try to program them up as conventional channels and manually pause on them to see if you ever hear a control channel sound or anything for that matter.

Federal System in Waco
Ok, I will try to program these as you indicated. I don't know if Bush still frequents his so-called ranch in Crawford. When my wife used to work for Waco city hall, she would notice the Secret Service vans in the parking lot near the Hilton. But, I've not heard any federal activity here, really.

I believe Bush sold the ranch in 2009. For that matter nothing he does would require the support of a mobile TRS such as the ones the WHCA and USSS have.
I think we can chalk this system up as "as good as gone."
