Today around 3 on SA 2 I heard Encrypted traffic, Both Radio ID's started with 604 which I have never seen on the LO site before. I assume it was Radio Techs but the Talkgoup was not patched to anything.

I was getting fully encrypted traffic on SA 2 TG 6525, I locked it out yesterday so I don't know if they switched back to open or not.

Radio techs like to use encryption full time. that is why I stopped listening to the SAUA system wile testing is going on. I Have been loging on the LCRA Live Oak site today. I haven't seen 6525 today or any other LCRA SA tg.

I found a new tg this morning. It is 7011. Someone was asking about traffic lights on 46. I didn't hear the reply. It must be out of the Boerne Kendall County area.

On 11004 New Braunfels PD Dispatch was on this TG and for the first time one of the officers was transmitting a P25 radio ID. Maybe there channel lineup is changing with the switch.

Hey Don, do you know how Schertz EMS talks to Northeast Methodist Hospital as they
are transporting an incoming patient to the emergency room ? Do they use an LCRA P25 TG #
or the old VHF Tac freqs ? I sold a Pro-18 to a customer that works at the Northest Methodist
Hospital and he as walked by their Emergency Room console radio and overheard the Schertz
EMS in contact with the hospital giving them stats and ETA information. What have you heard ?

The only channel I have found is the Schertz EMS 1 tg 12098 on the LCRA P25 system. Tg 12098 is linked to 156.015 MHz PL 203.5. They only use it if they can't contact the ER on the phone.

I only hear them talking to the ER on EMS 1 when they have a code three call and they can't contact the ER on the phone. The link from tg 12098 to 156.015 MHz is up all of the time. Maybe your friend can find out for us.

Don.

Schertz EMS from what I remember contacts all the ER's by phone, I think NE Methodist is the only one they can talk to by radio....Be nice if SA EMS shared there hospital TGS with other EMS agencies so they can contact any ER in the city by radio which is much faster sometimes during a Priorty transport.

I think that they are radio techs. Testing tgs with a radio with the enc turned on. I will see what happens when they start using them. I can decode the NB site using pro96com. Trying to listen to the NB site it comes and goes.
