Just a further update on how well the LO site coverage is, I heard a Cibolo officer check in for an off duty job at an HEB in San Antonio off of South New Braunfels on his handheld.

Thanks for finding site 120. That tg comes out of Kendall county. I haven't been able to ID who it is. It shows up on the Live Oak site every now and then.

How strong was the signal from the Canyon Lake area on site 120? I have always thought there would be a P25 site somewhere in that area.

I was using my HP-1 with stock antenna driving up down 306 by the 3424. I had full bars. Clear signal. All the way to the dam and in Sattler. I will keep listening. I gotta get some new cable up for my base station.

Pro96com is showing 770.18125 for a control channel for site 120. I can't hear it from my location.

I wouldn't be surprised if this site showed up in southern Kendall County. The range on these guys is immense, and the only other identified site in Kendall County is in Luckenbach (which is technically in Gillespie County). Somewhere in the Boerne-Bulverde-Spring Branch-Sisterdale area.

... and I bet that talkgroup is for Boerne PD.

Has anyone done a sweep near the Boerne or Kendall LCRA 900MHz sites for a strong 700MHz P25 CC that is licensed to LCRA? Since these should be at the 900MHz sites... thought we should look there.

I would love to see what pro96com is showing for site 120. I was guessing that it was in that area.

Boerne PD dispatches for Kendall County and everything else law wise is on their primary for the county and they have a talkgroup that shows up on the LO site more and more. The talkgroup is 7001 and I have ran it side by side with the 900mhz primary and they are the same. Same with Boerne Fire they are patched also.

To run pro96com you need a computer, a programing cable and a scanner. The pro 106 will work with pro96com. I use my psr 500 with my notebook. I log off of the Live Oak site all the time.
