That should be interesting. As far as I know all radios have been reprogrammed for rebanding.

Still waiting for the actual rebanding to hit.

All radios have been re-banded, Site re-banding slated to start around June 20th. P25 system is operational but not currently being tested.

City Hall just OK'ed budget for a new P25 system to replace the old system.

It will be interesting to see what happens with a "new" P25 system. The city just got all of the MSF5000 repeaters replaced with Quantars during the Nextel rebanding. The Quantars can be upgraded to P25 Trunking, but I'm willing to bet that they will end up getting all brand new GTR8000's.

The first site will be at Burnett then the rest of the simulcast buildout will begin for a total of 6 sites. One more than they currently have for improved coverage in a few areas where they have had issues in the past.
